Taskbar can be set to hide and it comes back after mouse cursor is hovered over it. Windows key has been assigned to open Start Menu. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Both files run clean on virustotal and jotti. Something somewhere is controlling this. We just need to find out where it is and disable it. When you "mouse over" things they become active. How will you tell Windows not to do that for just the taskbar?
Maybe ask your question in some other communities and if you figure out how do come back and tell us the secret:. But I'd prefer zero interaction with the mouse and everything controlled by the Windows key on the keyboard between Control and Alt on the left side.
When that method is so easy, why bother with the mouse at all? That's a very good point. I see what you mean by "system wide" setting. Hard to make an exception that way. Well they were able to delay it. I wonder if they are able to stop it entirely. The thing is you sometimes need to see the Taskbar. Especially good for notifications as many programs use it. TaskbarActivate disables the Windows key from activating the Taskbar completely.
