I'm sorry I couldn't help more. It installs straight from the App Store so no hassle. You can then attach to the existing explorer. I was able to install the WinDbg Preview. Was also able to attach the explorer process. Made a free attempts to capture the issue, but WinDbg is in shockingly debug mode and keeps breaking on the exceptions and I have to click go quite a bit.
